Travessia do Vale do Pati: Exploring the beauty and adventure of Chapada Diamantina
The Pati Valley Trek in the Chapada Diamantina is considered by many to be the most beautiful trek in Brazil.
For those who are willing and enjoy a good hike, this trek in the Pati Valley will change your life. The experiences you’ll have during these 8 days will be unique and unforgettable.
The Pati Valley is located in the heart of the Chapada Diamantina National Park and, due to its exuberant beauty, is one of the most visited places by those who enjoy hiking in natural environments.

The Pati Valley and its surroundings are considered to be one of the most beautiful natural refuges in the country due to its varied relief and geographical location, where with a bit of luck you can appreciate the variety of birds, mammals and reptiles that take refuge there.
In addition, the Pati Valley has a wealth of flora that is peculiar to its ecosystems, such as the natural gardens of rock vegetation, the campos gerais (common fields), the seasonal forests of the lowlands and the evergreen forests of the highlands that extend up the slopes of the hills.
These camposgerais (Gerais dos Vieira and Gerais do Rio Preto) are the source of some of the rivers that later form the main hydrographic basin in the state of Bahia: the Paraguaçu basin.
The Pati Valley can be reached by walking in different directions.
