Praia da Pitinga has a number of stalls and kiosks serving food and drink, providing comfort for visitors. Among the options are the Barraca do Faria and the Maré Beach Bar and Restaurant, each with its own style and characteristics.

  • Diving: The coral banks, located between 200 and 400 metres from the beach, are perfect for diving and observing marine life.
  • Clay Lake: There is a small white clay lake where tourists can bathe and take advantage of its supposed medical properties.
  • Occasional nudism: In more isolated areas south of the beach, there are occasional reports of nudism due to the tranquillity of the area.
