The Catabrigas Waterfall is situated on the outskirts of the district of Ibirajá, which is part of the municipality of Itanhém, in the very south of the state of Bahia.

It is situated about 6 km from the district of Ibirajá and less than 30 km from Medeiros Neto, serving as a destination for local residents and visitors from neighbouring towns.
