Serra Grande: A natural paradise on the Cocoa Coast

Serra Grande is a charming district in the municipality of Uruçuca, on the Cocoa Coast, just 43 kilometres from Ilhéus and 30 kilometres from Itacaré, two of Bahia’s iconic tourist destinations.

Known for its quietness and natural beauty, the town stands out on the BA-001 Park Road, which runs through the lush Atlantic Forest.

Serra Grande is famous for its 22 kilometres of unspoilt beaches, which include

The Tijuípe Waterfall is a not-to-be-missed attraction, with a four-metre drop and natural pools for swimming.
