Santa Isabel Biological Reserve
The Santa Isabel Biological Reserve is a protected area on the coast of Sergipe.
It is one of the main sites of the TAMAR project and has already released millions of Turtles into the sea.
The main endangered species protected is the Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) and it is an important nesting site for the Olive Ridley Turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea).

How to get there
