Porto de Galinhas Beach (Centro)
There is a beach in front of the village and it is the departure point for rafts to the natural pools (Galés). It is ideal for swimming in shallow waters and observing fish. Visit at low tide and choose an accredited raft.

Galés: natural pools


The region is characterised by its coral reefs, which provide a postcard-perfect backdrop. Activities include snorkelling, observation diving and photography. Please respect the corals and use biodegradable sunscreen.
Maracaípe Beach


This is a surf spot with strong waves and a more rustic atmosphere. It is excellent for surfers, but watch out for the currents and peak areas.
Maracaípe Point
